Barrister Olalekan Akinyemi is a principal partner at Grace Akinyemi & Akinyemi Chambers and a distinguished solicitor and barrister of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He has expertise in alternative dispute resolution, insolvency law with a specialization in loan recovery, banking law and practice, administrative law, family law, property and real estate conveyancing, civil rights, probate and trust matters, as well as economic and financial crimes, including white-collar offenses. His extensive litigation experience ranges from the High Court through to the appellate courts.
His academic journey is both diverse and international. Barrister Akinyemi studied German language at Volkshoch Schule in Vienna, Austria, Computer Studies at West London College, London, UK.
He pursued Journalism at London School of Journalism, before advancing to legal studies at Birkbeck College (University of London), and proceeded to London Guildhall University (now London Metropolitan University). He completed his legal training at the Nigerian Law School. An accomplished seasoned legal professional, Barrister Akinyemi previously served as a Non-Executive Director at Cornerstone Mortgage Bank Ltd and Cornerstone Finance Ltd, where he acquired deep insights into banking operations and financial management at senior levels.
