Mr. Rasaq Yusuff is the Chief Executive Officer of Zhabest Microcredit Nigeria and a seasoned banker with over three decades of experience in the Nigerian financial sector. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State, and a Master’s Degree in Economics—with a specialization in Money, Finance, and Trade—from the University of Maiduguri, Borno State.
He began his banking career during his compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) year at the defunct Allied Bank of Nigeria Plc in 1988/89.
Following this, he secured full-time employment with Allied Bank of Nigeria Limited and went on to serve in three other leading financial institutions:
Mr. Yusuff’s banking expertise spans Branch Operations, Credit and Marketing, Risk Management—with a strong emphasis on Credit Risk and Debt Recovery. His leadership is grounded in both technical proficiency and strategic insight.

He is also an alumnus of the renowned INSEAD Business School, Fontainebleau,
Paris, France, and has attended numerous executive courses and seminars both locally and internationally.
Mr. Yusuff brings his wealth of experience, integrity, and vision to Zhabest Microcredit Nigeria, where
he leads the institution’s mission to promote financial inclusion and economic empowerment. He also serves
as a Director at Zhabest Nigeria Limited.
